Accepting Terms & Conditions
When placing an order in our shop, you are accepting our Terms / Conditions as found below (indeed, you cannot proceed to the Checkout page without accepting these terms). As such, please make sure that you familiarise yourself with these terms before making your purchase.
Once your order is confirmed by Renard Roux, a legally binding contract exists between you and Renard Roux. We will send you an order confirmation by email once your order has been approved, and you will receive a receipt, also by email, once your package has left our office. If you wish to cancel your order before you have received it, you must contact us as soon as possible; if your order has not been shipped at this time, we will cancel it for you.
Renard Roux reserves the right to change the content of the website and webshop at any time without prior notification.

Renard Roux accepts VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, AmEx, PayPal, Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay. We do not charge credit card fees, although your bank or card issuer may charge their own fees.
Payments are made through Shopify Payments or PayPal, both through encrypted SSL protocols and full industry-standard encryption.
The order amount is not charged to your card until the order has been shipped.
By using PayPal you are not protected by the objection system.
Please note that Renard Roux does not collect or store your credit/debit card number or information when you make a payment. For questions regarding your transactions on our site, please consult your card-issuing bank for information.
A confirmation email will be sent to you once the order is authorised and verified. It normally takes 1-2 business days for us to process your order after payment is verified. Please note that this does not include holidays or weekends.
Sales Tax / VAT
When purchasing from within the EU, Danish sales tax (VAT) is included in our sales price. When purchasing from outside the EU, prices do not include sales tax.
Our gift cards are digital, and will be emailed to you shortly after your purchase.
Gift cards are valid 3 years from purchase.
The gift card balance can be added to Apple Wallet.
You have 28 days Right of Withdrawal for gift cards (see below).
Right of Withdrawal / Return PolicyWe hope that you are happy with your purchase. If for some reason you are not, you have the right to regret your order (or parts of it), for whatever reason, within 28 days from receiving your order (two weeks more than stipulated by EU law. After 28 days from receiving your order, this right expires.
If you have ordered more than one product, and the products are not delivered at the same time, the 28 days start when the last product is received.
The returns process:
- Notify us that you wish to use your right of withdrawal by writing to email@example.com within 28 days of receiving your product(s). Please include your order number and contact information.
- Send the product(s) back to us within 28 days of informing us that you wish to use your right of withdrawal. Please include a copy of your invoice with the shipment. You must mark the package with the words "Returned Goods".
- Once we receive and inspect the products, a refund will be issued within 10 days to the same payment source that was used to make the purchase.
The product must be returned in the original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it. You are responsible for the condition of the product until we have received it.
You are responsible for paying for the return shipping of the product. The shipment must be trackable, as this guarantees that the package will reach us. The product cannot be returned as a parcel without a tracking number.
If the product has been damaged once we receive it, we reserve the right to subtract the lost value of the product from the refunded amount.
Please note that products that have been customised to your specifications are non-refundable, and cannot be returned.
The original shipping cost will not be included in your refund.
If you are returning a product from outside of the EU, please clearly mark the package with “Returned Goods” to avoid any customs charges. We do not accept any customs charges related to return shipments; any such customs charges are solely your responsibility. Any customs charges incurred due to improper "Returned Goods" marking will be deducted from the refund.
Import duties, taxes or fees are not accepted as a cause for returning an order.

Defects & Claims
All products are covered by Danish law regarding the sale of goods, giving you 24 months to complain about a defect in your purchased product. If you believe your product to be somehow defective, please contact us within a reasonable period of time after the discovery, and no later than two years after purchasing your product.
Send your claim to firstname.lastname@example.org, making sure to include photos of the perceived defects, and a copy of your invoice. Once your claim has been evaluated, within a reasonable period of time, we will contact you to try and resolve the issue. If your claim is deemed valid, Renard Roux will either replace the product or issue a refund. If we require the product in question to be returned to us, we will supply you with a shipping label for the return.
Please note that our Studio Print posters (and possibly other products) are embellished by hand, with any combination of stamps, paints, embossed markings, edition numbers and/or the artist’s signature. As hand embellishments, these markings cannot be claimed as defective. Each product page will clearly state what embellishments are added to the given product.
No computer screen will ever be able to accurately represent the exact colours of printed materials, and Renard Roux does not guarantee that the colours you see in our webshop will be true to life. We do however hope that you will agree with us that the posters look even better in real life.
Printed paper goods are particularly susceptible to damage from moisture; please take care to avoid direct contact with water or other liquids, and don’t use any wet or moist implement to clean a poster. To remove dust from the surface of a poster, please wipe gently with a dry cloth. One of those fancy ostrich-feather dusters will also do the trick.
All print inks are susceptible to fading when exposed to UV light, even when using “archival inks”; to keep your posters in the best possible condition, avoid hanging them in direct sunlight. You can mitigate the effects of UV light damage by having your posters framed behind UV blocking glass or acrylics. Ask your local framer for more information.
When framing your posters, it is important to avoid framing materials (such as backing board, adhesives, or a matte / mount / passe-partout) that contain acids, as these will damage the paper and inks of the poster over time. All Renard Roux posters are printed on acid-free, high quality paper.
Please note that framing a poster behind glass or acrylics without a matte / mount / passe-partout, causing the poster to rest directly against the glass, can in some rare cases cause damage to the poster over time. Do consider having your posters professionally framed and mounted; while sometimes expensive, it is usually well worth the cost.
Renard Roux does not sell to minors under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please get assistance from a parent or guardian.
All designs, logos and intellectual property rights belong to Renard Roux, and can only be used with the express permission of Renard Roux.

ComplaintsShould you wish to make a complaint about Renard Roux, you have the following options:
- Danish customers can register their complaint with Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, via their Complaints Portal.
- All customers can register a complaint with the EU Commission’s Consumer Complaints Portal. Please add our email address, email@example.com, to the complaint.
